Results showed that really some people showed more wisdom than others. But this difference between persons wisdom was smaller than a difference between wisdom in particular situations.
Research also showed that people show more wisdom when they are with other people.
Furthermore, keeping the diary also improve wisdom levels. Maybe diary helped to improve self-reflection.
Researchers checked also gender, education level, and age. It turned out that only age impacted on the level of wisdom. Not gender not education level, not wisdom teeth.
The scientist also told that measuring wisdom with a single questionnaire item is unreliable. Because people’s wisdom differs so much from one situation to another, Grossman said you’d really need to test someone on at least nine situations to know his levels of wisdom.
It looks like, wisdom is more of a state than a trait.
