Walking will help your mood

A study on college students found that walking will improve mood. This study had groups under varied conditions walk around campus.

Students who spent 12 minutes walking around campus or inside buildings reported a more positive mood than others.

They reported having more vigor, self-confidence, and attentiveness after the walk.

Others spent the same amount of time sitting and looking at photographs or watching a video of the same campus.
